Hi! I’m Kathlyn but also known as Nicole Eve for some projects. I am a Scottish Audiobook narrator but you might also recognise me as “Your Local Chaotic Romantasy bookworm” on Tiktok. Let’s bring your story to life together. Don’t worry I narrate lots of different genres and have a range of accent capabilities. Background and Credits
I originally started my performing career in Musical Theatre and Music. I graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London in 2017 with a BA(Hons) Performing -Actor Musicianship and a level 6 Diploma in Acting. This course covered more than just theatre arts we also covered screen and voice over. Since then I have performed in theatre productions around the UK.
I have always been a massive reader and in May 2025 I started my “booktok Account" (@fantasticalbookworm). After a couple of months on booktok I had an opportunity to record an audiobook. This was the perfect connection between my 2 loves- performing and reading. Skip to now and I have not looked back. I have to admit my favourite place in the world is my humid coffin-like booth!
You may notice I have 2 names! Kathlyn-Nicole Milne is used for most books but for books containing darker themes or on page explicit scene and spice then I use my Pseudonym - Nicole Eve.

Listen Up
So far you’re thinking- you talk a big game but I haven’t heard anything yet. Do not fret because you have landed at my samples. I have been so lucky to have partnered with many incredible indie authors to produce samples for social media collaborations and for the authors to use as marketing. I am also incredible lucky that these indie author have allowed me to use them here and on casting websites along with my social media.

Rates
Raw Files
£150PFH (Per finished hour)
These files will be proofed for narration errors and ready for an audio engineer. They will not be edited and mastered. This will also include a round of pick ups (re recorded phrases) for any narration errors.
In order to work out a rough idea of how many finished hours your book might be divide the word count by 9000. My average speed is around 9000 words per hour. For example if your book is 90,000 words then the estimate finished time would be 10 hours
Mastered Files
£225PFH (Per finished hour)
These files will be edited/mastered and proofed and ready for distribution after your own proof listen. This will also include a round of pick ups. In order to save more time for recording I tend to outsource editing for any books longer than 4 hours

The Set Up

My Booth is fully enclose using Vocal Booth To Go Acoustic Blankets SB-VG. There are extra layers of acoustic foam on the front wall and a carpeted floor. The top is completely sealed over with moving blankets
